Dr. Phil Cardoso received the American Dairy Science Association Foundation Scholar Award in Dairy Production on Thursday, July 21 at the Joint Annual Meeting of the American Dairy Science Association and American Society of Animal Science in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Foundation Scholar Award recognizes young scholars and their potential, in research and educational leadership, to identify critical issues affecting the future of the dairy industry.
The winner of the Foundation Scholar Award delivers a symposium-style address at the ADSA annual meeting with a focus on critical issues affecting the future of the dairy industry. Dr. Cardoso spoke on "A new holostic approach for dairy extension: From research to education to business."
